COURSE NAME: Pistol Course 0: The Consultation

DESCRIPTION: This course is a consultation specifically geared toward the first-time pistol purchaser, and is designed to provide you with 1-on-1 instruction on the basic safety rules while determining the best pistol for you. Through testing and evalution of rented pistols, you will learn the basics of proper safe gun handling to safely shoot your potential new purchase. 

CLASS SIZE & DURATION: The class size is for 1 student. This class is 2 hours.

GEAR LIST:

  • Closed-toed shoes are required (no sandals) and no low-cut shirts or tank-tops
  • Ammunition (50-100 rounds) – factory manufactured full metal jacketed target ammunition ONLY. You can bring this or buy it at the range.
  • The items below are required to shoot on the range:
    1. Hat with brim
    2. Ear Protection - electronic with sound amplification preferred so you can clearly hear all instruction given while on the range. You can bring this or rent a non-amplified set at the range.
    3. Eye protection rated for shooting sports. You can bring this or rent a pair at the range.

Notes:

  • You must provide a valid email and phone number.
  • You will NOT receive a certificate of any kind for this consultation.
  • The entire course of instruction will occur on the range.
  • The student will be responsible to pay their range and rental fees to include 2 hour range time, rental of range gear: gun(s), eye & ear protection (if you don't bring your own), targets, 1-2 boxes of ammunition and any other range fees that are required to get you on the range. 
  • You must be at least 21 years old to attend this consultation
